Bangkok Hotel: Twin Towers February 5, 2007Posted by WishBoNe in Random Thoughts, Transport.
I’m doing my own research on hotels in Bangkok since I’m the one who’s travelling. Those who have visited recommend staying in at least 4 stars hotel to be safer. Well, the prices per night sounds ridiculously outrageous to me, more than S$120 per night for some of the 3 – 4 stars hotels. The location of some are not walking distance to MBK or Siam Centre. I’m still figuring if it’s ok to take their public bus or tuk tuks. I know, always insist on the meter for the fare.
Now, I’m using Trip Advisor reviews by travellers on Twin Towers Hotel Bankok. 16 English reviews with some negative ones. I guess no hotel can actually maintain a good record with no negative reviews. If I were to stay in that hotel, I would have to take some extra cash for transport. Sawadee has 15 reviews, some positive and some negative.
This could be my alternative if I can’t secure a room from Samran Place. I really want to try it out but it’s one of the most popular stayed hotel by the looks from Sawadee reviews, 44 of them. Shall have to check out other hotels that are affordable, less than SGD400 for 4 nights.
