Ways to Cook Eggs January 23, 2007

There are different ways of cooking eggs. You can

  • Soft/hard boil (soft boil as the egg is still runny. Just add some pepper and soy sauce)
  • Poach the egg (with photos included)
  • Steam the eggs (also known as custard, water is added to make it smooth)
  • Omelet
  • Sunny side up (fried on one side only, I love it when the yolk’s still runny!)
  • Scrambled
  • Egg flower (where the egg is cooked in the soup and separated before it gets cooked to form thin wisps of egg)

I may have missed out some methods to cook the egg but I think some of the methods mean the same thing. I simply love it when the egg yolk’s runny. It’s a mess if it’s on the plate but not when it flows in your mouth :D
