When you go US, be sure to be one of the highest paid such as surgeon, gyn or just be in the medical field and climb up to being a surgeon. It’s one of the highest paid in US. Based on MSN Career Builder, that is. I’m not sure how accurate it is though. Anyone can confirm on that?

Now I can understand why we love want to work overseas, the pay is higher and the exposure is good, when we return, our pay is increased. So who doesn’t want to go overseas to earn big bucks?

Right now in Singapore, nurses are quite well paid. Maybe I should just switch to a nursing diploma and then be a full time nurse.

You a full time nurse? I doubt the working hours are any different as your current job, it could be worse.

There’re different types of roles for nurses too, depends on which are you want to go into; taking care of elderly, children, cancer, etc.
