It’s so hot today. Went out in the morning to check if there is any promotions for tours. Couldn’t decide if we should book the free and easy package. As there was no brochure, we had to leave. At least we have the price for comparison. Went to Sim Lim Square to source for assemble PC. Not that I wanted to but I took the chance to check out the prices for 2.5″ HDD because I’m thinking of increasing my external HDD space to 80GB or 100GB. The prices seem to be cheaper than a few years back.

I didn’t buy any because I wasn’t sure if I should buy. I’d give the old one to my brother who’d be very happy because he won’t have to spend a cent. With a sister like me, who needs to buy anything?

Had my lunch at Bugis Street. I couldn’t find any stall that sells vegetarian chui kuay :[ Ended up having popiah (not fried, I still have my tender throat recovering) and Ginko Barley (so miser, not much ginkos and barley, just the few pieces as taste) but the soup was not too sweet.

Anyway, when I went home after that. Only to watch the PC fall hard literally. Somehow my brother had managed to push it down. The loud thud was heard and my heart just went thud. The newly assembled PC was kaput. There is no display. Blank. No video input. I don’t know where to start to troubleshoot. I hope the harddisks are alright. If it’s just the graphics card, I don’t have to worry since my brother has to pay for it. First, I need to find out which components to test. Unfortunately, I don’t have any spare motherboard, RAM, and other components to test out. Who can spare me one?
